The M in the acronym MAPS stands for Motivation. It takes motivation to initiate and then sustain the behavior changes needed to protect your brain and enhance your mental capacity. Therefore, the first step in your journey towards brain health is to ramp up your motivation to take action. 

In this episode we help you investigate your “big picture” motivation. The idea is to tap into your core values and life ambitions and consider how they are supported by a healthy brain and an active mind. Said another way, how well will you be able to achieve your life ambitions and live according to your core values if your let your brain deteriorate and allow you mind to get duller with each passing year. You brain is important. You only get one per lifetime, so it make sense to take care of it. Find the motivation you need to give your brain and mind the attention and care they deserve.
